Two dozen people detained in Chilliwack RCMP raid of well-known downtown drug houses
One Victor Street residence long known as a den of criminal activity finally taken down with seizures of a firearm, fentanyl, meth, cocaine
Chilliwack RCMP announced drugs, cash and a firearm seized at a house on Victor Street downtown well-known to be what neighbours used to call a “crack shack.”
The property at 9485 Victor St. on the southwest corner of Cleveland Avenue was one of two residences raided by the Chilliwack RCMP on Sept. 17, 2026 following a drug trafficking investigation.
During the execution of search warrants, police detained 23 individuals located at the residences. They also seized cash, a firearm, and suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine. All individuals detained were later released pending further investigation with the exception of two individuals who were held in custody due to outstanding unendorsed warrants.
Chilliwack Bylaw officers attended both properties during the searches after which “no occupancy” notices were posted on both properties as a preventive measure to deter individuals from returning.
On Sept. 25, there were people going through a large dumpster on the front lawn of one of the properties.
The investigation remains ongoing and charges are pending.
