Less than a month after Chilliwack RCMP released a CCTV image from a Main Street nightclub to ask the public to help identify a man accused of an assault, that man is accused of violently attacking a romantic partner.
Bryson Skrhelam-Rabang Julius, 31, is charged with unlawful confinement, assault by choking, and assault in a ‘K’ file with an offence date listed of June 23, 2026 in Chilliwack, according to court services online. K files are the B.C. court system’s designation for violence against romantic partners. Julius was arrested that day or the next and appeared in provincial court in Abbotsford on June 24 at 2 p.m. for a bail hearing.
Upon his arrest for the domestic assault, that’s presumably when police identified Julius as the man they believe was in an image taken from CCTV footage at Luxe Nightclub on May 7.

Julius – who may more commonly use Rabang as a surname – was in court on June 24 facing the June 23 K file as well as the charge of assault causing bodily harm in connection with the May 7 nightclub incident.
He was released on bail with no deposit and no surety on June 24 in connection with both files. He is next due in court to fix future dates in Chilliwack on July 17. The May 7 alleged assault also has an August 18 date scheduled for a first appearance on that file.
On May 27, Chilliwack RCMP released the image from the nightclub looking to speak to the man in the photo after receiving a report from a victim who said they sustained serious injuries as a result of the assault.
Julius has no other criminal charges in B.C., according to a search of his name on court services online.
