The BC Tasting Festival offers a chance to ignite taste buds and chill out in style at an unforgettable culinary and beverage experience in support of a great cause.

This one-of-a-kind Fraser Valley event brings together some of B.C.’s best in food, drink, and entertainment on Sept. 13 at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre, with 100 per cent of proceeds going to Kids+Music, a charitable initiative of the Chilliwack Academy of Music.

Love your food fiery and your drinks icy? Then this festival is a perfect pairing. Sample bold flavours from over 22 spirits, wine, cider and local beer producers including favorites such as Dubh Glas Distillery, Odd Society, Maple Leaf Spirits, Sweetwater Distilling, Moon Curser Vineyards, and many more. There will also be local favourites Farmhouse Brewing, Heritage Acres Distilling, and last year’s fan-favourite, Mountainview Brewing.

Themed food stations are hosted by Lakeside Beach Club Restaurant, offering delicious pairings to complement the tasting experience.

Live entertainment will keep the vibes high with featured performances by Trevor McDonald, Hayley Chase, and cameo acts from the Chilliwack Academy of Music’s talented students and faculty. Adding to the buzz, entertainment sponsor Paramount Pictures Canada is bringing a touch of Hollywood to the Fraser Valley. In celebration of their upcoming film Roofman starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, select lucky ticketholders will win an exclusive VIP movie vight complete with dinner, a limousine ride, and backstage access to the film’s special screening in Vancouver.

Tickets are $75, which includes:
• All food and drink tastings
• Unlimited live music and entertainment
• A festival wristband for all-access fun

There will also be a Characters Liquor Store pop-up, where guests can bring home new favourites,

That ticket can be upgraded with VIP Access presented by Andmar. Step into the ultimate VIP lounge where luxury meets excitement. Savour vibrant, handcrafted cocktails from Tumbleweed Distillery, or recharge at Andmar's energizing Oxygen Bar at VIP guests have a chance to win an unforgettable trip for two.

Every ticket sold helps make music education more accessible in the community.

“The academy is a very special place for musical experiences, a creative refuge for many,” says Christine Hadvick, interim executive director of Chilliwack Academy of Music. “This event will help fund outreach, scholarships, and music programs for hundreds of families.”

Tickets are available now at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre Box Office or online: BC Tasting Festival: Fire and Ice.
